The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has begun a two-day public inquiry into three regulatory instruments aimed at shaping the communications sector. The instruments under review include Telecommunications Networks Interconnect Regulations, Guidelines on Procedure for Granting Approval to Disconnect Telecommunications Operators, and Guidelines for Dispute Resolution.
Speaking at the event, NCC’s Executive Vice Chairman, Dr. Aminu Maida, emphasized the importance of stakeholder input in shaping the future of the industry. He noted that the public inquiry is a testament to the Commission’s commitment to transparency and inclusivity.
