Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed has approved the redeployment of five senior officers to strategic positions, effective immediately.
The officers include Assistant Corps Marshals Jonas Agwu and Chidi Nkwonta, and Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide, who takes over as Public Education Officer. Deputy Corps Commander Wasiu Adenekan has been appointed Technical Advisor to the Corps Marshal and head of the Corps Information Technology Office.
The redeployment aims to enhance the Corps’ performance and ease of doing business.
In line with his policy thrust targeted at strategic repositioning of the Corps for optimal performance and ease of doing business, the newly appointed Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps, Shehu Mohammed, has approved the redeployment of five Senior Officers, in the category of three Assistant Corps Marshals, One Corps Commander and one Deputy Corps Commander, who are all expected to report to their new responsibilities with immediate effect, according to a statement signed by the Public Education Officer, Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide, and made available to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP).
The Corps Marshal charged the officers to remain committed and dedicated to their duties, sharing the FRSC vision of safer roads for all motorists. This move aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda for safer roads.
