Nestlé Nigeria has announced the winners of the 2024 Nestlé for Healthier Kids (N4HK) Quiz Competition, with Oke-Ona United School in Ogun State and UBE Primary School Pasali in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) emerging as the champions. The students showcased their knowledge of healthy nutrition, hydration, physical activity, and sustainability, demonstrating their understanding of the core pillars of the N4HK initiative.

The N4HK program aims to help 50 million children globally lead healthier lives by 2030, with a focus on school-based nutrition education and environmental sustainability in Nigeria. The quiz competition, which began in 2020, reinforces the lessons taught and encourages children to internalize the information in a memorable way.

Out of 135 participants from Lagos, Ogun, and the FCT, the winners were announced at the state finals in Abeokuta and the FCT. Victoria Uwadoka, Corporate Communications and Sustainability Lead at Nestlé Nigeria, congratulated the students and expressed pride in their enthusiasm for learning about healthy living.

The winning schools will receive awards, including a basketball court, desktop computers, and a table tennis court. The Nestlé for Healthier Kids initiative aims to reach over 8,000 children annually in Nigeria, promoting healthy habits and a sustainable future.
