The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has officially unveiled the portrait of its Commissioner for Insurance, Olusegun Ayo Omosehin. The ceremony marks a significant milestone in Omosehin’s tenure as the chief executive of NAICOM.
Omosehin, a seasoned insurance professional with over three decades of experience, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. His multidisciplinary background spans strategic planning, risk management, transformational leadership, and performance management.
As a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FIIN), Institute of Directors (FIoD), and Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria (FILAN), Omosehin has demonstrated his commitment to excellence in the insurance industry. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, Master of International Law and Diplomacy, and (link unavailable) Economics.
Prior to his appointment as Commissioner for Insurance, Omosehin held various leadership positions, including Chairman of the Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) and Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of Old Mutual Nigeria Life Assurance Company Limited.
The unveiling of his official portrait solidifies Omosehin’s position as a leading figure in the Nigerian insurance industry, and NAICOM looks forward to his continued leadership and expertise in driving the sector forward.
