At the 30th Nigerian Economic Summit, TGI Group hosted a dinner session emphasizing the importance of rural inclusion for Nigeria’s socio-economic growth and national security. The session, themed “Rural Economy: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” brought together leaders from various sectors to discuss how rural communities can contribute to economic transformation.
Farouk Gumel, Vice Chairman of TGI Group, highlighted the role of rural inclusion in Nigeria’s economic development, emphasizing the need for stronger collaboration between urban decision-makers and rural entrepreneurs. Other speakers, including Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, and the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa, stressed the importance of rural inclusion in unlocking Nigeria’s full economic potential and improving national security.
