The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has announced the release of the first batch of newly recruited primary school teachers and caregivers. A total of 5,600 teachers and 80 caregivers have been selected following a recent recruitment exercise.
Speaking in Ibadan, the Chairman of OYOSUBEB, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, disclosed that the list of successful candidates has been approved by the Oyo State Governor, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde.
Applicants can access the list starting Saturday, November 23, 2024, through the job portal at https://www.jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng. Successful candidates are expected to participate in a verification exercise at the Board’s headquarters. Details regarding the verification process will be communicated to the candidates in due course.
Dr. Adeniran emphasized that the recruitment process was transparent and based strictly on merit, free from political, religious, ethnic, or gender bias. He encouraged the newly recruited teachers to approach their roles with diligence and dedication, viewing their appointments as a call to service.
