
TAJBank Limited, Nigeria’s leading non-interest bank, marked its 5th anniversary, celebrating a half-decade of ethical banking success. At a commemorative event held in Abuja, the bank’s board and management lauded customers for their loyalty and staff for their dedication, attributing the bank’s meteoric rise to these key stakeholders.
Speaking at the event, Founder and CEO, Mr. Hamid Joda, reaffirmed TAJBank’s commitment to enhancing customer experiences through advanced technology and innovative financial solutions. He emphasized the bank’s corporate philosophy, stating, “Our only interest is in the customers.” Joda also highlighted TAJBank’s ongoing investment in financial technology to simplify banking and empower customers in their respective markets.
Looking ahead, Joda said, “Our focus remains on ease of doing business for our customers. From the onset, our disruptive strategy has been anchored on IT, and we’ll continue to lead in delivering efficient services in the years to come.”
Co-Founder and Executive Director, Mr. Sherif Idi, reiterated the importance of human capital to TAJBank’s vision of becoming one of Nigeria’s top 20 banks by 2029. “Our employees are our greatest asset,” he said, pledging continued investment in training and development to achieve this ambitious goal.
Director Alhaji Tata S. Umar credited the bank’s success to strong governance and innovative strategies, reflecting on its journey from a small startup to a nationwide banking leader. “TAJBank’s growth has been remarkable, thanks to a visionary board and management team,” he remarked.
The event concluded with Long Service Awards and gifts to staff and stakeholders, underscoring TAJBank’s recognition of hard work and loyalty as cornerstones of its success.
