Guaranty Trust Holding Company Plc (GTCO) is proud to announce its return as the headline sponsor of the 2025 NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament.

The prestigious event, a mainstay in Nigeria’s sporting and social calendar, will be held at the Lagos Polo Club, Ikoyi, from February 4th to 23rd, 2025.

The NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament is renowned for its rich heritage and thrilling competitions. Last year, the Leighton Kings triumphed in a gripping six-chukka match, defeating Art Hotel Shoreline to retain the Majekodunmi Cup.

The 2025 edition promises to be even more exciting, with top-tier teams competing for the Open Cup and Majekodunmi Cup in both high-goal and low-goal matches. The Silver Cup will run throughout the tournament, while the Low Cup will take center stage in the final week.

Segun Agbaje, Group CEO of GTCO, commented on the company’s role as the tournament’s main sponsor: “At GTCO, we are committed to fostering excellence and uniting people through shared passions.

The NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament perfectly embodies the spirit of teamwork, discipline, and fair play—values that align with our brand. We remain dedicated to driving positive change by supporting initiatives that benefit the community and promote social progress.”
GTCO’s sponsorship reflects its longstanding commitment to community development and inclusivity through world-class events.
