Nigerian Breweries Plc celebrated its trade partners in grand style at the 2025 Distributor Awards, held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event, which honored top-performing distributors and transporters, also marked the relaunch of Life Lager Beer with a refreshed new look.
Comedian Funnybone hosted the glamorous ceremony, where Jimoh Ogungbola (J. Ogungbola and Sons Limited) clinched the National Volume Champion award. Dennis Okorie (MACDEN Communications Limited) and Christiana Odiaka (Chrisemua and Sons Limited) emerged as first and second runners-up, respectively.
Speaking on the theme “Winning Beyond Limits,” Nigerian Breweries’ Managing Director, Hans Essaadi, highlighted the crucial role of trade partners in the company’s success despite the economic challenges of 2024.
“As one team, we’ve learned that collaboration is key. Tonight, it’s about looking back at our shared victories and celebrating those who made them possible—our distributors and transport partners,” Essaadi said.
Marketing Director Emmanuel Oriakhi also expressed gratitude, emphasizing the company’s appreciation for partners who remained committed despite tough market conditions.
“We thank you for standing with us through 2024’s challenges. Tonight is about recognizing your contributions and celebrating the strong partnerships we’ve built,” Oriakhi stated.
National Volume Champion Jimoh Ogungbola commended Nigerian Breweries for its consistent support, noting that despite inflation and economic downturns, his company achieved significant growth.
The night featured cash rewards running into millions of naira, trophies, forklifts, and cases of premium products. Other awardees included Moses & Kossy Nigeria Enterprise, Ensy Global Ventures, and AOP Logistics Limited. Guests were entertained by Fuji legend Adewale Ayuba, KCee, and the vibrant Sugar Band.
