As part of its commitment to investor education and financial inclusion, the Securities and Exchange Commission Nigeria (SEC) has intensified efforts to equip children and young Nigerians with the financial knowledge needed for informed decision-making.
In a statement issued Monday in Abuja, the Commission outlined various activities commemorating the 2025 Global Money Week (GMW), a global initiative promoting financial literacy among young people. The 13th edition, themed “Think Before You Follow: Wise Money Tomorrow,” took place from March 17 to 23, emphasizing early financial awareness.
To mark the event, SEC Nigeria launched the #CatchThemYoung: Invest in Their Future campaign, aimed at fostering early financial education and investment awareness. The campaign is expected to expand through collaborations with the capital market community.
