In a bid to foster harmony and strengthen relationships at Tincan Island Port, the Customs Area Controller, Frank Onyeka, hosted a special Ramadan dinner on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, Onyeka emphasized the significance of Ramadan as a period of reflection and unity. He noted that the gathering was not just about sharing meals but also about promoting dialogue and mutual respect among stakeholders.
The Chief Imam of Tincan Island Mosque, Imam Sadiq Mohammed, commended the initiative, describing it as a bridge between religious communities at the port. Similarly, Alhaji Akeem Ayobiojo, Chairman of APFFLON Tincan Chapter, praised Onyeka’s efforts in fostering a culture of inclusivity.
The dinner was attended by representatives from the Armed Forces, Customs agents, terminal operators, and shipping line executives.
