Julius Berger Nigeria Plc has reinforced its commitment to technical skills development with the graduation of its first vocational trainees and the launch of the Julius Berger Vocational Skills Academy in Abuja.

The event saw 30 trainees complete programs in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and auto diagnostics, while 40 new students were inducted.

The academy aims to institutionalize vocational training, providing industry-relevant skills and certifications. Company leaders, including Chairman Mutiu Sunmonu and MD Dr. Peer Lubasch, emphasized the initiative’s role in bridging Nigeria’s technical skills gap, with a focus on gender inclusivity and opportunities for persons with disabilities.
