Mr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPC Ltd), has reaffirmed his commitment to forging strong partnerships with key stakeholders to fulfill the strategic mandate entrusted to him by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, Mr. Ojulari described collaboration as the cornerstone of the company’s success. “We are here with a mindset of partnership—with the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, the Ministry of Finance, and all other critical institutions. Our goal is to bridge gaps, foster alignment, and move forward with a united front. Antagonism benefits no one; collaboration is how we win,” he said.

Senator Lokpobiri welcomed the new leadership team, praising their credentials and expressing confidence in their ability to deliver results. “This is arguably the strongest leadership team NNPC Ltd has ever assembled. Now is the time to translate that reputation into measurable outcomes—especially in boosting crude oil production and ensuring the sector delivers optimal value to Nigerians,” he stated.

Mr. Ojulari emphasized that breaking through bureaucratic barriers and accelerating project execution will require close synergy between NNPC Ltd, the Ministries of Petroleum and Finance, and relevant agencies. He added that his executive team is ready to work hand in hand with regulators, investors, and host communities to drive growth and transparency across the oil and gas value chain.

Minister Lokpobiri pledged his full support and strategic guidance, assuring Mr. Ojulari that the Ministry would partner closely with NNPC Ltd to achieve shared objectives and advance Nigeria’s energy ambitions.
