The 10th edition of Agrofood & Plastprintpack Nigeria wrapped up with a record-breaking turnout and resounding industry acclaim. Held at the Landmark Centre in Lagos, this year’s event attracted 2,230 professionals—a remarkable 18.5% increase in attendance—underscoring its growing influence as the region’s leading trade fair for agrofood, plastics, printing, and packaging.

The anniversary edition raised the bar with cutting-edge exhibitions, dynamic cross-border partnerships, and robust participation from both the public and private sectors. Germany served as the 2025 Guest of Honour, reaffirming its long-standing support for Nigeria’s industrial growth, while national pavilions from countries including the Netherlands, Poland, China, and South Africa showcased innovative technologies and solutions.

With over 40 conference sessions and 90 expert speakers, the event provided a deep dive into emerging trends, regulatory frameworks, and investment prospects across key sectors. Thousands of strategic business conversations took place, helping to forge new regional linkages and drive market expansion.

“This edition has set a new standard,” said Paul Maerz, Managing Director of fairtrade Messe. “It’s clear that Lagos continues to lead as West Africa’s trade and innovation capital, and the turnout reflects the urgency and opportunity for sustainable industrial transformation.”

Organisers also announced The Netherlands as the Guest of Honour for the 2026 edition, promising an even stronger focus on sustainable agriculture and food systems. The event is set to return from March 24 to 26, 2026, at the Landmark Event Centre
