The 24th edition of NOG Energy Week, Sub-Saharan Africa’s premier energy gathering, is set to take place from 29 June to 3 July 2025 at the Abuja International Conference Centre. With the theme “Accelerating Global Energy Progress Through Investment, Partnerships & Innovation,” the event will convene over 7,000 global energy leaders, policymakers, regulators, and technical experts from more than 85 countries.
Positioned at the crossroads of policy, strategy, and technical innovation, NOG Energy Week 2025 aims to shape a resilient, sustainable, and investment-friendly energy ecosystem for Africa. The five-day programme includes a Strategic Conference, CPD-certified Technical Seminar, Nigerian Content Seminar, International Exhibition, Energy Awards, Leadership Roundtables, a Golf Day, and the exclusive Energy Club.
The Strategic Conference will feature ministerial sessions, strategic panels, and high-level multilateral dialogues exploring Africa’s evolving energy role in the global order. Discussions will centre on balancing energy security with climate commitments, and how African countries can position themselves as key actors in the global transition.
Wemimo Oyelana, Country Director – Nigeria & Portfolio Director – Energy at dmg Nigeria events, noted:
“NOG Energy Week 2025 is a catalyst for Africa’s energy transformation. From innovation showcases to strategic partnerships, the programme is designed to deliver measurable progress across the energy value chain. As energy systems grow increasingly complex, this platform ensures Africa’s voice remains central to shaping a sustainable global energy future.”
Running parallel to the Strategic Conference, the Technical Seminar will offer practical, CPD-accredited training for engineers, scientists, and project managers. Sessions will cover midstream infrastructure, sustainability, emission reduction, modular gas systems, and other core topics essential to energy professionals.
The Nigerian Content Seminar, in collaboration with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB), will assess progress under the NOGICD Act. It will also explore strategies to deepen local content, enhance domestic capacity, and support indigenous businesses in global supply chains.
Meanwhile, the NOG International Exhibition—now open for visitor pre-registration—will feature over 350 exhibitors, including national pavilions from China and India. Attendees will experience innovations in exploration, low-carbon tech, LNG, digital operations, and hybrid renewable systems, positioning Nigeria and West Africa as emerging hubs for energy investment.
NOG Energy Week 2025 will also host closed-door Leadership Roundtables and Executive Meeting Suites, enabling C-suite executives, policymakers, and regulators to engage in high-level dialogue and shape future investment priorities.
As global investment flows shift and energy demand rises, the event offers a timely opportunity for stakeholders to align strategies and drive inclusive, low-carbon development across Africa.
Registration is now open for international delegates.
