The event, held on Thursday, July 10, at UBA House, Marina, Lagos, featured the theme “Stronger Together: Building Powerful Business Partnerships for Progress.” It brought together leading entrepreneurs, business experts, and industry insiders to share practical strategies for collaboration, funding access, and navigating business challenges.
High-profile speakers included beauty entrepreneur Dabota Lawson, real estate mogul Wale Ayilara, fashion designer Mai Atafo, and journalist and TV producer Peace Hyde. Their sessions aimed to equip participants with actionable insights and the right network to thrive in today’s evolving economy.
UBA’s Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking, Shamsideen Fashola, said the bank recognises collaboration as the cornerstone of lasting business success, especially in an interconnected world. He described the Business Series as a platform to unlock growth opportunities through alliances that drive innovation and progress across Africa.
Echoing this, Alero Ladipo, UBA’s Group Head of Corporate and Marketing Communications, noted that the quarterly sessions are central to the bank’s goal of creating an ecosystem where entrepreneurship can flourish through shared knowledge and partnerships.
With both physical and virtual access, the UBA Business Series continues to expand its reach, enabling entrepreneurs across the continent to gain the tools and inspiration needed to scale their businesses.
