First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has reaffirmed its commitment to financial inclusion and customer empowerment by rewarding 3,016 customers in the ongoing Season 10 of its Millionaire Promo.

The six-month-long savings promo, which runs through September, has so far produced 12 millionaires — with each winning ₦1 million — and distributed various cash prizes to an additional 3,004 customers across Nigeria. Winners emerged through transparent electronic draws conducted monthly between January and June 2025.

At the fifth draw held on June 17, four more customers won the top ₦1 million prize. The lucky winners include Ranti Badmos (Lagos), Wilson Onoezikome (Kaduna), Esther Obafemi (Ijebu-Ode), and Israel Oruma (Asaba). Oruma, a timber merchant, described the prize as life-changing, revealing plans to reinvest the funds into his struggling business.

“This is a pleasant surprise. I have been facing financial challenges recently. The ₦1 million will go a long way in assisting me. I’m investing it in my business and will encourage all my staff, family, and friends to open an account with the Bank. Thank you, FCMB,” he said.

Adetunji Lamidi, Divisional Head of Personal Banking at FCMB, said the promo reflects the bank’s long-standing mission to uplift everyday Nigerians through financial incentives.

“Amid current economic pressures, this initiative encourages saving, rewards commitment, and empowers customers. It’s about turning financial discipline into real opportunities,” he explained.

To participate in the promo, customers must grow their savings by at least ₦10,000 and maintain the balance for 30 days. Each additional ₦10,000 saved improves their chances of winning. New, existing, and reactivated accounts are all eligible.

The draw process, observed by regulatory bodies, has been praised for its transparency. Oyinkan Kusamotu, Principal Legal Officer at the Lagos State Lottery and Gaming Authority, commended FCMB for adhering strictly to guidelines and fair play.

“The transparency we’ve witnessed builds trust and reassures customers that their participation is valued and protected,” she said.

As the promo continues into its final months, FCMB is urging more Nigerians to take advantage of the opportunity, turn savings into rewards, and possibly join the growing list of everyday millionaires.
