The Society for Performing Arts in Nigeria (SPAN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Private Vocational and Allied Council (PVAC) to strengthen innovation, creative education, and skills development across the country.
The agreement was formalised at SPAN Innovate 2025, a landmark event dedicated to promoting creativity and enterprise in Nigeria’s performing arts and vocational sectors.
During the signing ceremony, Mrs. Kate Isa, President of SPAN, and Mr. Abdul Mukhtar, National Coordinator of PVAC, affirmed their shared commitment to empowering Nigerian youth through capacity building, vocational training, and creative industry development.
Chairman of Finlab Limited, Chief Uzomba Nwaije, and other dignitaries witnessed the signing, describing the collaboration as a model for public-private synergy capable of unlocking Nigeria’s human capital potential.
According to the organisers, the partnership will drive new programmes in creative technology, entrepreneurship, and skill-based education — all aimed at fostering innovation and reducing youth unemployment.
The SPAN–PVAC alliance is expected to play a key role in aligning Nigeria’s creative economy with global standards while enhancing job creation and national productivity.
