The Pension Commission (PenCom) has issued a stern warning to retirees and the public against fraudulent individuals demanding money to facilitate pension benefit payments.
PenCom clarified that neither the Commission nor the Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs) will ever request gratification or payments from retirees to release pension entitlements. The public is urged to verify all pension-related information through official PFA channels or PenCom communications.
Retirees and pensioners are advised to remain vigilant, protect their pensions, and immediately report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
