The Babura Local Government Council boss has outlined concrete measures aimed at addressing the challenge of out-of-school children within the area.

The Chairman of the Council, Honourable Hamisu Muhammad Garu, disclosed this shortly after a stakeholders’ meeting convened to deliberate on strategies for improving school enrolment and retention.

According to the Chairman, the measures taken include sustained support for education initiatives, public enlightenment campaigns to sensitize parents and guardians on the importance of education, identification of key challenges responsible for the problem, and the development of practical solutions to address them.

He further revealed that sub-committees have been constituted to ensure the success of the programme.

 The sub-committees comprise district and village heads, officials from the education department, and other relevant stakeholders, who will work collectively to drive the initiative at the grassroots level.

Honourable Hamisu Muhammad Garu therefore called on parents and guardians to support the education drive in line with the vision of His Excellency, Governor Umar Namadi, FCA, towards securing a brighter future for the children and overall development of the state.

In a related development The newly appointed secretary of kazaure Local government Council Hon Bello Sani has been sworn in to office.

The swearing process was presided over by Magistrate Umar Murtala as according to the law.

 In his remarks during the ceremony, the chairman of Kazaure Local government Council Hon Mansur Usman Dabuwa has charged the new secretary of the local Government  to discharge his official duties honestly and in accordance to the law.

 Hon Mansur Usman Dabuwa has assured of his Council readiness to continue with developmental projects in the area.

He said his Council has proposed nest year budget that would improve the living standards of the people in the area.

 Hon Mansur Usman Dabuwa added that provision of enough drinking water, health care services, educational development, Agriculture, and economic empowerment are some of the major priority within the next year fiscal budget.

 He therefore called on people in the area to give maximum cooperation to the council so as to achieve the desired objective.

  Responding shortly after the swearing the New secretary Hon Bello Sani has assured of his readiness to contribute towards the development of Kazaure Local government area.
