In a bid to strengthen collaboration and eliminate all forms of abuse, domestic crimes, and sexual violence in society, human rights activist Fatima Kaila Nini and her team paid an advocacy visit to the Council Chairman of Malam Madori, Honourable Salisu Sani Garungabas.
During the visit, Nini sought the council chairman’s full cooperation and support for campaigns and sensitisation programs targeting violence, crime, drug abuse, and sexual misconduct within communities under his jurisdiction. She emphasized the urgent need for intervention and public awareness to protect vulnerable members of society.
The delegation also visited the palace of the District Head of Malam Madori, Dokajen Hadejia, Alhaji Muhammad Saleh Kuliya, where they presented their advocacy goals and received assurances of support when necessary.
In his remarks, Honourable Garungabas pledged to provide all necessary resources to enable the activists carry out their work effectively. He further stated that his office remains open to guidance and will actively participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing security and promoting positive community behaviour.
