HOTEL SHUT DOWN FOR SELLING LIQUOR IN SULEJA

Franfortg Hotels a subsidiary of Franfortg Dynamic Resources Ltd located at TOC 3 Bagudu Estate Kwamba Suleja Niger State has closed down operations after series of attacks coming from the Islamic groups in the community.
According to the reports from our correspondent Mrs Ojularis Doris, the one time ever bubbling Franfortg Hotels came under a series of attacks and allegations ranging from constituting a public nuisance through the noise pollution, selling of alcohol and aiding and harboring homosexual groups all within the hotel premises, the action which were refer to as anti-Islam and blasphemy according to the sharia law under practice in the state.

It all started sometimes in March 2018 when the sharia authority using the local police ( the Hisbal) invaded the Hotel premises and cart away some alcoholic drinks worth several million of naira for destruction and also arrested the Hotel owner one Mr Olufemi Soyebi then took him to their station for questioning. But he was later released the same day after a fierce argument between the Islamic sharia institution and Mr Soyebi’s Lawyer who threatened to sue the community sharia authority of harassment and disruption to his client’s business.

Again in October 2019, the Hotel came under a serious attack when a group of Islamic youths launched a violent protest in front of the Franfortg Hotel threatened to let the hell lose, this time around alleging the owner of the hotel for allowing all form of activities of homosexuality taken place in the hotel premises. According to an eye witness who pleaded to remain anonymous for safety reasons said the timely intervention of the Nigeria Police saved the day from a major catastrophe as the irate protesters were ready to take down the whole hotel facility but the immediate arrest of Mr Olufemi Soyebi by the Nigeria Police dose down the anger from the protesters and were conspicuously dispersed around the hotel premises while Mr Soyebi was taken away by the Police.

The Hotel later close down the operations when a death threat persist on Mr. Soyebi from the Islamic fanatics who were bent in serving the owner of the hotel the punishment according to the sharia law which stipulates a death penalty for the actors and collaborators of homosexuality, the same act which also refers to as blasphemy.
When contacted the Police command in the area for clarification on the incidents by our correspondent, the Suleja Divisional Police officer CSP Mohammed Shettima confirmed the incidents and said the case has been transferred to the Niger State Police Command in Minna the state capital while investigation is still ongoing.

All efforts to get in touch with Mr Olufemi Soyebi the owner of the Hotel had so far proved abortive. It looks like he is on the run for his life as non of his household members was seen when The BusinessNewsNG correspondent traced him to his home address at Gado Nasko Road, Kubwa Phase 4, Abuja, while his official and personal phone numbers had been switched off.
