According to accounts from individuals familiar with an incident reported on 23 November 2023 in Saki, Oyo State, a man identified by some residents as Kehinde was reportedly discovered with his same-sex partner. The incident reportedly raised concerns about possible hostility towards him within the local community.
Following the incident, Kehinde reportedly escaped, while his partner was subsequently located and taken into police custody.
