A local vigilante group in Abeokuta, Ogun State, has launched a search for three individuals who reportedly escaped during a late-night operation conducted on October 30, 2025.

According to a statement issued by the group, approximately 10 people were present at a private gathering when the operation was carried out. Seven individuals were reportedly apprehended and taken in for questioning, while three others allegedly fled the scene.The three escapees were identified as;

Gbadebo Makanjuola
Agu Kelechi Jeffery
Opeagbe Ayobami Olugbenga.
It was learnt that Mr. Opeagbe Ayobami Olugbenga accidentally left behind his mobile phone while escaping the scene. While searching the phone, it wasdiscovered that several photographs and conversations of himself and his suspected Gay partner who is identified as Ijaodola Oluwasegun Azeez were found
Efforts are ongoing to locate the escaped individuals as well as persons allegedly connected to them
The group said investigations are ongoing and efforts have been intensified to locate the three individuals who escaped during the operation.

The vigilante group appealed to members of the public with relevant information to contact the investigating team. It added that a reward may be offered for credible information that assists the investigation.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, and no official findings have been announced by law enforcement authorities
