The Kano state Government sponsored online media chapel for special retreat at manpower institute Jigawa state capital Dutse .
The three days retreat is part of the Kano state Government effort to provide ethical training to the online professional journalist working in Kano state,he added that some of the the aim and objective of the retreat to online journalist is to boost their moral for them to handle their medium with ethical professionalism .
Speaking shortly after opening the retreat in Dutse ,the state commissioner of information Alh Abdullàhi wayya ,said the aim and objective of the retreat is to educate and empower the online journalist to be digitally motivated by acquiring the ethical knowledge of the profession
Adding that the Kano state government has recognized their value ,as a professional journalist handling the online media in the state ,he expressed the appreciation of the Kano state government for the support given by online chapel in moving the state forward through online .
The commissioner thank Kano state government for taking the responsibility of online chapel during the retreat in Dutse Jigawa state capital .
He assure to assist that ,Kano state Government will continue sponsoring and assisting the online journalist in Kano state .
He task them to be hard work ,work with professionalism while discharging their duties .
Wayya task the beneficiaries to work with ethic governing the profession and guided by the journalism constitution ,because digital journalism has come to stay .
He added that some individual online are now able to create name by themselves based on their performance on what they publicized through their online media
The commissioner added that ,the Kano state Government will continue supporting the online to ensure that the members of the profession are guided and fallow the ethical teaching of the profession .
He than task the members of the profession to avoid sensational reports to embreced ethical journalism profession .
Speaking at the occasion the Kano state chairman of the council Alh Abdulkadir Dangambo commend the Kano state government for organizing the retreat to online chapel to boost their capacity in handling the news report
