The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as YAYI, has pledged massive votes for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general election.

Adeola made the declaration while speaking with journalists during the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential primaries held at UAMC Eleja Pahayi, Ilaro Ward 1, in Ilaro, Ogun State.

The APC governorship flag bearer for the February 6, 2027 governorship election in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (YAYI) said members of the party in Yewaland must remain united and committed to the progress of the APC.

According to him, opposition political parties should not be given any opportunity to gain ground in Yewaland and Ogun West Senatorial District.

“We must not hear of any other political party in Yewaland apart from the APC. Our people should remain loyal and committed to the party,” he said.

Adeola warned party supporters against being deceived by politicians from opposition parties, saying some of them were once beneficiaries of the APC before leaving the party out of greed and selfish interests.

“They will come to you telling you that ADC, PDP or any other party is better than APC. Do not listen to them. Some of them held several political offices under the leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, but today they have nothing meaningful to offer Nigerians,” he stated.

The senator maintained that the continuity of Tinubu’s administration remains important for the growth and development of the country, stressing that many of the President’s reforms are already yielding positive results.

He listed some of the reforms to include the fuel subsidy removal, tax reforms and the NELFUND initiative, adding that even opposition parties have acknowledged the importance of the policies.

Adeola also highlighted major infrastructural projects of the Tinubu administration, including the Sokoto-Badagry Super Highway and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, describing them as projects of international standard capable of boosting economic growth across the country.

He further expressed confidence that President Tinubu would support his administration if elected governor of Ogun State, noting that the President has played a fatherly role in his political career since his days in Lagos politics.

Meanwhile, the Minister of State for Health, Dr. Isiaq Kunle Salako, joined other APC members in Ayetoro, Yewa North Local Government Area, to participate in the party’s presidential primaries.

Salako said Nigeria would witness greater development and stability if President Tinubu is re-elected in 2027.

According to him, the President’s economic and social reforms are already laying a solid foundation for a better future for Nigerians.
