The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) and the Organised Private Sector of Nigeria (OPSN) have expressed condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Nigerian Air Force and the families of those killed in the aircraft crash near Igbokoda, Ondo State.
In a statement issued on October 6, 2026, the organisations said they joined Nigerians in mourning the 32 people who lost their lives in the Nigerian Air Force aircraft crash on Monday, October 5.
The statement was signed by NACCIMA National President and Chairman of OPSN, Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, mni, OON.
Ibrahim extended the organisations’ condolences to President Tinubu, who is also Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, describing the incident as a painful national loss.
NACCIMA and OPSN also expressed sympathy to the bereaved families, the Chief of Air Staff and personnel of the Nigerian Air Force, as well as others affected by the tragedy.
The groups prayed for strength and comfort for the families of the victims and for the souls of those who died to rest in peace.
They also commended first responders and other personnel involved in the emergency response following the crash.
The business groups said they remained united in grief with the President, the Armed Forces and Nigerians across the country following the tragedy.
“God bless our Defence Forces. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” the statement said.
