Prophet Alex Ugochukwu, the Overseer of Immaculate Chapel Ministries (ICM) Global, has released a fresh set of political and national prophecies, predicting that former Anambra State governor and Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, will win the 2027 presidential election “clean and clear.”
He made the prediction in a prophetic declaration dated September 30, 2026.
The September 30 prediction followed another declaration released earlier by Ugochukwu on September 11, 2026, focusing on an impending “plane crash” involving the Imo State Government and the Federal Government, although he subsequently clarified that the aircraft could represent a political “crash” rather than an actual aviation disaster.
The prophet’s latest pronouncements are also being viewed against the background of several predictions attributed to him and published by Nigerian media organisations since 2021.
The prophecy, contained in a prophetic declaration dated September 30, 2026, also warned of what the prophet described as a potentially violent period following the election, saying the country could pass through a “last battle” before the emergence of what he called a “New Nigeria.”
Ugochukwu’s latest declaration comes against the backdrop of increasing political activity ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with Obi already positioning himself as a major opposition contender. Obi has urged Nigerians to mobilise voters and protect their votes ahead of the election, while political opponents have continued to dismiss his chances of defeating President Bola Tinubu.
He said the earlier vision appeared to have been delayed, referring to the biblical passage in Habakkuk about a vision that may tarry but would eventually come to pass.
He said he saw “a new face” who had not previously been known taking a seat, adding that the fulfilment of the vision appeared to have been delayed.
Ugochukwu who is Nigerian-based-in-Canada prophet subsequently identified the man in the latest revelation as Peter Obi.
“Now the Lord showed me a man with an open tooth, handsome tall man, Peter Obi,” the prophet said in the declaration.
According to him, Obi appeared in the midst of jubilant Nigerians after an election, which he interpreted as an indication that the former Anambra governor would emerge as the next president.
“Come 2027 election Peter Obi will win the election clean and clear,” he declared.
However, the prophecy was not entirely celebratory.
Ugochukwu warned that Obi’s victory could be followed by widespread violence, not necessarily caused by the candidate himself but by angry Nigerians who, according to the prophecy, would be unwilling to continue with what he described as the politics of corruption and poor governance.
He further claimed that foreign interests would attempt to intervene but would be resisted by Nigerians.
The prophet described the anticipated violence in extremely graphic terms, saying there would be bloodshed and casualties before the country eventually enters what he sees as a new phase.
He interpreted the development as a “last battle” for Nigeria, after which a “New Nigeria” would emerge.
Meanwhile, on the prophecy involving a ‘plane crash,’ he predicted tension between the Imo State Government and the Federal Government in Abuja, suggesting that a breakdown in relations could result in a major confrontation.
The most striking part of the declaration was his vision involving an aircraft.
According to the prophet, the Imo governor was expecting a Federal Government delegation that failed to arrive. The governor, he said, subsequently flew his private jet to Abuja to find out what had happened.
During the flight, Ugochukwu said he saw another aircraft attempting to land before a disastrous plane crash occurred.
Importantly, however, the prophet subsequently qualified the vision himself.
He said the revelation “may not necessarily refer to a physical plane crash”, suggesting instead that the aircraft could symbolise a political “crash” a collapse, disruption or breakdown within the camp of an adversary.
He connected the revelation to what he described as corrupt communications or dealings between the Imo State Government and the Federal Government, interpreting the anticipated “crash” as divine judgment.
The declaration also contained a broader warning that the Nigerian presidency would experience another significant issue.
Ugochukwu’s latest declarations have attracted attention partly because he has been making and publishing political, national-security and international predictions for several years.
In June 2021, News PLATFORM published an extensive interview-style report on the prophet in which he made a number of predictions concerning Nigeria and the wider world. The report described him as the leader of Immaculate Chapel Ministries, also known as Jesus The High Court Judge, in Owerri.
Among the predictions published at the time was warnings concerning the T.B Joshua’s Death,
Pope Francis, political developments in Nigeria and the future of former President Goodluck Jonathan on the Theommentng.com and other online news platforms.
Ugochukwu’s record of published prophecies on Beats-onit.com also includes a prediction concerning former United States President Donald Trump.
According to accounts of his earlier prophetic pronouncements, Ugochukwu predicted that Trump would not return to the Oval Office after completing his first presidential term on January 20, 2021.
A May 2021 report reproduced on Nairaland quoted Ugochukwu as saying that “three more jets will go down in Nigeria,” describing what he said would be similar to military aircraft. The report also contained a warning about possible bloodshed in Owerri.
Ugochukwu continues to communicate his prophetic messages through his online ministry.
His ministry advertises a weekly Online Prophetic Prayer Session (OPPS) with Prophet Alex Ugochukwu, held every Friday at 6pm WAT, with broadcasts available through YouTube, Facebook and Google Meet. //END.//
