In a historic milestone, Dangote Refinery has completed its first export of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) to Cameroon, marking a significant step in regional energy collaboration. The export, achieved in partnership with Neptune Oil, highlights the refinery’s commitment to promoting intra-African trade and addressing energy demands across the continent.
Aliko Dangote, CEO of Dangote Group, emphasized the vision of fostering energy independence in Africa, while Antoine Ndzengue, Director of Neptune Oil, celebrated the partnership as a boost to Cameroon’s energy security and economic growth. Both companies are exploring initiatives to stabilize fuel prices and create new economic opportunities in the region.
This export reinforces Dangote Refinery’s position as a pivotal player in Africa’s energy market, showcasing its capacity to supply both domestic and regional markets with high-quality petroleum products.
