The Action Alliance (AA) in Jigawa State says it is witnessing increasing interest from prominent politicians within the ruling party, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

State Chairman of the party, Alhaji Ismaila Usman, disclosed this while addressing journalists shortly after the party’s congress held in Dutse.

He noted that several high-profile individuals are quietly registering with the party, signaling possible defections in the near future.

According to him, the congress was conducted peacefully under the supervision of security agencies and media representatives, with all existing executives retained through a consensus arrangement.

Usman expressed optimism about the party’s growing strength, stating that AA is positioning itself as a viable alternative capable of addressing Nigeria’s pressing challenges.

He called on residents of Jigawa State to support AA candidates in the upcoming elections, assuring that the party remains open to new members and committed to delivering effective leadership.

The chairman added that the identities of new entrants would be revealed at the appropriate time, as political realignments continue to unfold.
