The All Progressives Congress (APC) has celebrated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, commending his leadership, reform agenda, and contributions to Nigeria’s democratic and economic development.

In a statement issued by APC National Chairman Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, the party described the president as a “patriot, reformer, bridge-builder, and bold thinker” whose political journey has shaped Nigeria’s governance and democratic trajectory.

Yilwatda highlighted President Tinubu’s record from his tenure as Governor of Lagos State to his current role as President and Commander-in-Chief, noting that his administration is implementing “bold and far-reaching reforms aimed at laying a sustainable foundation for national prosperity, economic stability, and inclusive growth.”

According to the statement, the Tinubu administration has focused on stabilizing the economy, restoring investor confidence, improving revenue generation, deepening infrastructure development, reforming key sectors, and expanding social interventions. The party also praised initiatives targeting youth empowerment, local production, agriculture, education, healthcare, digital innovation, and energy security.

“Meaningful reform often comes with temporary discomfort, but we are convinced that the sacrifices of today will yield a stronger, more prosperous and more equitable Nigeria for present and future generations,” Yilwatda said.

The APC also commended President Tinubu’s commitment to national security, unity, and governance that reflects courage, clarity of purpose, and progressive values. The party concluded by wishing the president renewed strength, wisdom, health, and grace to continue leading Nigeria toward stability and prosperity.

“Happy 74th Birthday, Your Excellency. Nigeria is grateful for your service. History will remember your courage,” the statement added.
