Leaders and stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (All Progressives Congress) in Kazaure Local Government Area of Jigawa State have pledged full support for Governor Umar Namadi ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing his administration as impactful and people-oriented.
The endorsement was made by Alhaji Salmanu Sani Milo during a stakeholders’ meeting of APC leaders held in Kazaure. He reaffirmed the commitment of party members in the area to mobilise support for the governor, stressing that the party remains united and dominant in the local government.
According to him, Governor Namadi has recorded significant achievements across key sectors including water supply, healthcare, education, agriculture, rural road construction, electricity provision, youth empowerment, and support for small-scale businesses. He noted that these interventions have improved living standards and strengthened grassroots development.
Alhaji Salmanu Sani Milo urged APC members in Kazaure to intensify efforts in promoting the governor’s policies and achievements under his 12-point transformation agenda, describing it as a blueprint for sustainable development in Jigawa State.
He further declared confidence in the party’s electoral strength, stating that APC remains the most organised and widely accepted political platform in the area, and will secure a decisive victory in 2027.
In his remarks, the APC chairman in Kazaure, Alhaji Nasiru Sabiu, reaffirmed the party’s readiness for the upcoming elections, noting that necessary democratic and electoral procedures are being followed to ensure credibility and success at all levels.
Other speakers at the meeting, including former APC chairman Alhaji Hassan Lawan and his deputy Alhaji Muhammad Bagares, also expressed confidence in the party’s unity and electoral prospects.
The meeting was attended by ward leaders and other key stakeholders, who collectively pledged loyalty and support for the party’s leadership ahead of the next election cycle.
