The Imo State  Government has released a public notice seeking information on the whereabouts of an individual identified as Mr. Umunna Chigozie Innocent.

According to the statement, Mr. Umunna is said to be a native of Mgbidi in Oru West Local Government Area of Imo State. Authorities allege that he is linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a group involved in separatist agitation in Nigeria.

The government claims that the group has been associated with activities that have contributed to unrest and tension in parts of the country. As a result, security agencies have been urged to remain alert.

Members of the public who may have any information regarding Mr. Umunna’s whereabouts are encouraged to report to the nearest police station or contact relevant authorities. Officials emphasize that any useful information could assist ongoing security efforts.

The notice was officially issued and signed by representatives of the Imo State Government, who reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and order within the state
