Former governorship candidate and former Aspirant for Federal House of Representatives Imeko/Afon-Yewa North Federal Constituency, Engr. Temitope Steven Kuyebi, has declared that the long-awaited aspiration of Ogun West Senatorial District producing the next governor of Ogun State is gradually becoming a reality.

Engr. Kuyebi made the statement on Thursday in Imasayi during the APC governorship primary election held in the ward for the party’s consensus candidate.

According to him, the peaceful conduct of the primaries across Ogun State and other parts of the country signaled a new dawn for Yewa Land and the state at large.

“It is a new dawn for Yewa Land and Ogun State. The peaceful conduct of the primaries across the length and breadth of Ogun State and Nigeria is a clear indication that democracy is thriving within our party,” he said.

The atmosphere in Imasayi was filled with excitement, unity, and hope as party leaders, stakeholders, and supporters gathered to celebrate what many described as a historic moment for Yewa people.

Kuyebi described the emergence of Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as “Yayi,” as a victory for fairness, progress, and the collective aspiration of the people of Ogun West.

He noted that the emergence of the senator has strengthened the belief that the long-awaited dream of Yewa producing a governor is steadily becoming a reality.

Engr. Kuyebi, alongside party faithful and supporters, expressed joy and satisfaction over the emergence of Senator Adeola, describing him as a proud son of Imasayi Yewa and the incoming governor of Ogun State.
