In his acceptance speech, Chigbo thanked Almighty God for the memorable occasion and expressed appreciation to the Board and members of the Rotary Club of Ojodu for the confidence reposed in him to lead the club during the Impact Year.
He paid glowing tribute to his immediate predecessor, Rotarian Martins Nnanna, for his leadership and contributions to the club, pledging to build on the achievements of the previous administration.
Unveiling his agenda for the Impact Year, the new President outlined a series of proposed humanitarian projects estimated to cost over N70 million, covering Rotary’s seven areas of focus.
The projects are expected to address pressing needs in disease prevention and treatment, basic education and literacy, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, community economic development, environmental protection, and peacebuilding.

His years of active involvement in Rotary have seen him contribute to initiatives in healthcare, youth development, disease prevention and community service.
Beyond the formal proceedings, the installation ceremony offered guests an opportunity to unwind and celebrate, as professional networking, fellowship and entertainment added colour to the occasion.
The event also provided a platform for strengthening relationships among Rotary leaders, business executives, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders whose support remains vital to the club’s humanitarian programmes.
With an ambitious project plan exceeding N70 million, Chigbo’s presidency sets the stage for another year of service, as the Rotary Club of Ojodu seeks to deepen its impact on communities while upholding Rotary’s enduring motto, Service Above Self.
