The Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Tertiary Education, has assured employers of quality graduates from state-owned tertiary institutions. This assurance was given by the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hon. Tolani Sule, at the Lagos Students Career Expo, held at the University of Lagos.

The commissioner, represented by Director Kike Oduwole, stated that the state government has invested significantly in manpower development, facilities, infrastructure, and a conducive learning environment. The Career Expo provided an opportunity for employers to share their expectations and feedback on how to improve teaching and learning in state higher institutions.

Students were advised to take advantage of the Expo to ask relevant questions, acquire skills, and explore job opportunities that align with their career goals. Employers were assured that the peaceful atmosphere and seamless academic calendar in state-owned institutions are testaments to the government’s commitment to producing qualified graduates who can compete globally.

The Expo aimed to provide job opportunities for students and serve as a feedback mechanism for the ministry from employers. Organizers thanked the state government for providing quality education and assured participants that the event would achieve its goals.
